WHY IS MY UNIT BEEPING???

The stand alone units have a sensor and beeps if the lamp is out or after 2 years of usage.
It is possible to reset the 2 year timer and use the existing lamp for another 6 to 12 months.
TO RESET THE TIMER:
1) Remove the aluminum shell.
2) Keep power to unit and unplug lamp or don't look directly at the lamp.
3) On the green PC board that powers the unit, find a red button or black switch.
4) Press the red button or switch the black switch for 5 second while power is to the unit. NOTE: This is a 12 Volt DC unit and it is safe to perform this task.
After you plug the lamp in, the beeping should have stopeped.
Be suree to reset timer the next to you replace the lamp.
